Volunteering for the outdoors and wildlife in your area
If you’d like to give some of your time and energy to our National Parks, why not consider joining a local Friends of group working near you? There are Friends of groups throughout Australia, community groups that are working on a variety of projects and issues that are important to the conservation of their National Park and its unique wildlife. Friends of groups welcome people of any age, gender, nationality, occupation and natural ability. There is something for everybody and no special qualifications are required.
Each Friends of group operates autonomously and we recommend making contact to find out more information about the who, what and where so you can get involved. FNPW is very proud of the work undertaken by a variety of community groups in National Parks across Australia and the funding support that we have provided.
Most National Parks have a Friends of group who are passionate about conservation and protection of their local National Park. To find out further details about local volunteer groups visit your relevant state National Parks website:

Corporate Environmental Volunteering (CEV) with FNPW
If you would like to organise a day for your corporate team to volunteer for a good cause – you can do some hands on work in a stunning National Park to help out FNPW! Over the last 5 years the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife has worked with our government partner NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service and community partner Landcare Australia to support corporate environmental volunteering in Sydney National Parks. We have a range of sites within National Parks and can organise CEV days for 6 to 100 people.
